Lady Gaga is set to make history with a monumental free concert at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on May 3, 2025. Titled ‘Mayhem On The Beach’, the show is expected to draw over a million fans, marking her first performance in Brazil since 2012.
The first-come, first-served event will be held on a custom-built stage, with a live broadcast on Multishow and TV Globo starting at 9 PM BRT (1 AM BST). The concert also kicks off Todo Mundo no Rio, an initiative celebrating entertainment’s impact on Rio de Janeiro.
Gaga announced the show on Instagram, expressing her excitement:
“It’s a great honor to be asked to sing for Rio. I’ve been dying to perform for you for years and was heartbroken when I had to cancel before. I’m now coming back, feeling better than ever, and working hard to make this show one you will never forget. Get ready for MAYHEM on the beach.”
The event supports Gaga’s seventh studio album, ‘Mayhem’, set for release on March 7, 2025. The album follows 2020’s ‘Chromatica’ and its 2024 ‘Harlequin’ companion record. Three singles have been released so far:

🦠 ‘Disease’
🔮 ‘Abracadabra’
The album will also feature a collaboration with Gesaffelstein.
Copacabana Beach has hosted legendary concerts, including Madonna’s record-breaking 2024 show (1.6 million attendees), The Rolling Stones (2006), and Rod Stewart’s 1994 performance (4.2 million attendees)—the most-attended concert in history.
